Accessions

That there are a number of important accessions in the Natal Archives from which genealogical information can be obtained, among them the Robert Noble Acutt Collection (A502), the Kit Bird Collection (A79), original deeds of transfer of land purchased from Adam Kok by the Boers, Philippolis, 1866-1875 (A104), the Henderson Collection (A 113, A 1167), a list of rebels during the Second Anglo-Boer War (A135), the Murder at Holkrans by A.L. Pretorius (A330), the Robins Collection (A314), information on the Addison Family (A970), the Sir John Akerman Collection (A971) and the Memoirs of Jan. P. Hamman as narrated by himself (A572), a tentative list of Natal settlers, 1843-1858 (A1528), the Colenso collection (A204), Military graves in Natal (A74) etc. A1360 is an important collection which contains, among other things, lists of immigrants who became citizens of the Transvaal Republic during the Second Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).

This form then gets sent to Pretoria before you are phoned to tell you that you may then go back to the Masters Office to peruse the documents.
